“BUILDING THE CAPACITY OF EDUCATORS & LIBRARIANS IN INFORMATION LITERACY”

The Cyprus University of Technology Library, in its capacity as the Coordinator of the EDUCABILITY Project, organizes the Multiplier Event: Final Conference and Dissemination Event, in collaboration with the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute.
The Conference marks an important milestone in the roadmap towards establishing an educational platform for the Information Literacy professionals. The main objective of this event will be the presentation and dissemination of the results and outcomes of the project in general. Each partner will present its own part and relative results.
The target groups of this event will be librarians, educators and youth people from all the participants’ countries. Specifically, international associations such as IFLA members of the information literacy community, librarians from other universities/institutions, Teachers & Students from all the levels of the education system, researchers and experts will be invited, as well as Professionals/experts who had been selected from the partners involved in the project.
The event will give us the opportunity to provide the overall results of the EDUCABILITY project, offering a program of activities that will allow for open and constructive dialogue. It will also provide the libraries and education system, a space in which to share experiences, discuss research and discover best practices for equipping youths with the skills required to succeed in 21st-century society and the labour market. Contributors (keynote speakers) are invited to address the research, project achievements, case studies and theoretical and conceptual work relating to the event theme and tracks.
The event will be organized in hybrid format. Online participation will also be available.
All proceedings of the Conference will be held in the English language.
