Doctor in History since 1992 with the qualification of Apto cum laude and extraordinary award, Diploma in Archiving from the Center for Bibliographic and Documentary Studies, Professor of the Department of Library Science and Documentation of the Carlos III University of Madrid and Deputy Director of the Department.

Ph.D. with international mention and extraordinary award from the Universidad Carlos III. Master's degree in Documentation Research from the University Carlos III of Madrid (2009-2011) with the extraordinary award at the end of studies. Diploma and Degree in Documentation from the University of A Coruña with National Award. FPU grant from the Ministry of Education for the training of university professors. She is currently Associate Professor in the Department of Library Science at the University Carlos III.

Academic background: Bachelor’s Degree in Documentation at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Professional experience: I work as a librarian at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid since 1991 where I have developed my work in different services, mainly in Electronic Resources (2000-2014). Currently I coordinate the OpenCourseWare of the UC3M.

Dedicated to the definition and development of user experience on websites from the analysis to the look and feel of them through the development of mockups, prototyping and design. I have also worked in graphic design developing complete creativities and information design products (guides, maps, directories, signage...).

As a Systems Infrastructure and Datacenter Manager with over 12 years of experience at UC3M, I have proficiently developed, overseen and delivered new infrastructure to guarantee the quality of all IT services of the University.
